The middle east has some religions that encourage dying so that you can get 72 virgins to make love to everyday (I don't know the exact amount, but I hear this from several different sources, especially among the suicide bombers.)

If the war in Iraq can be continued in this cat and mouse style, where the continual encouragement of Iraqi soldiers to surrender is offered by the U.S., an interesting result may occur.

If the U.S. can demonstrate that their first desire is not to kill Iraqi troops, it may open many eyes that assume that a warlike death is the only honor available to a conscript.

The valuing of an Iraqi soldiers life perhaps moreso than the Iraqi commanders do is a profoundly excellent strategy.

I hope it is followed to the max.

that says alot about the male chauvinism as to attain the highest prize...virgins.

i'm undecided about life values as a war technique.
